Windows Configuration

Setting a Static IP - Windows 10

1. Click on Start and type in "Control Panel"
   

   

2. Click on Network and Internet
   (If Control Panel is set to icon view, go to Step 3)
   

   

3. Click on Network and Sharing Centre

   

4. Click on Change Adapter Settings (Located on the left menu)
   

   

5. Right click on the Ethernet adapter and select properties
   

   

6. Click on Internet Protocol version 4 so it is highlighted then click the properties button
   

   

7. Click the bubble next to Use the following IP
   

   

8. Enter the details provided by BarWeb Support staff and click OK

MacOS Configuration

Setting a Static IP - MacOS

1. Click on the Apple logo in the top right and select System Preferences
   

   

2. Click on Network
   

   

3. Select Ethernet

   

4. Change Configure IPv4 to Manually

   

5. Enter the IP details provided by BarWeb Support Staff
6. Click on Advanced...

   

7. Click on the DNS Tab
8. Click on the + icon and enter the IP 208.67.222.222
   

   

9. Click OK
10. Click Apply
    

    

Other Device Configuration

Setting a Static IP - Ubuntu 16.04

1. Click on the Networking icon in the top system tray and select Edit Connections...
   

   

2. Select your Wired Connection profile and click edit
   

   

3. Select the IPv4 Settings tab
   

   

4. Click Add and enter the IP details provided by BarWeb Support staff
   

   

5. Enter DNS IP address of 208.67.222.222
   

   

6. Click Save
7. Click Close
8. Click on the Networking icon in the system tray and select Disconnect
   

   

9. Click the Networking icon again and select your Ethernet profile
