Step 1: Open Apple Mail To begin, open the Apple Mail app on your Mac. This can be found in your Applications folder or via Spotlight search. Step 2: Access Mail Preferences Click on Mail in the top-left corner of your screen, then select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
